Finding Your Gratitude

Finding Your Gratitude
April 17, 2013 Danny Cohen

grateful-2How often have you gotten up in the morning and said to yourself “I can’t wait for this day to end.” Even before your day has begun? Or you step on the scale and the number just isn’t perfect, and you immediately say to yourself (or even sometimes out loud) “I just hate myself!” We all have had thoughts and days like this, where we just don’t want to face the world, but why? What if I were to tell you that, YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE THIS WAY? That YOU can live a life FULL OF GRATITUDE, but first, you must ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE NOW. We all have something to BE GRATEFUL FOR. We all have something to SMILE about. Currently if it isn’t your body that you are GRATEFUL for now, know that YOU are working towards getting it to where you want it to be, and it soon WILL BE something that YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR. If you wake up having a bad day, think of a few things that will make it GREAT, and move on with your day knowing things will only get better.  Keeping this mindset will enable you to look at your situations differently. Yes, I am not there now, but I WILL BE and for now I CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY with whom I AM NOW.

Some ways to help you find your GRATITUDE:

1.  Write down everything that you are GRATEFUL for.

2.  Take a 30 minute gratitude walk. While on this walk say “Thank you” for everything that you have in your life RIGHT NOW

3.  Take time to meditate.

What are some things that you do that help you find your gratitude? I would love to hear from you.

Keep on Keeping On Everyone!
